The Architectural League of New York‘s Emerging Voices program was naturally among those profiled among ARCHITECT Magazine‘s “Emerging Talent.” Established in 1982, the program was described by author Mimi Zeiger as “a bellwether for architectural ascendance.” The Architectural League’s outreach to emerging talent has evolved to include its Prize for Young Architects & Designers, lectures, exhibitions, and the like. The photo above features Architectural League staff member Anne Rieselbach, who has directed the program since 1986. Click here to read the full profile.

The 2011 Architectural League Emerging Voices include individuals from the practices of Interboro Partners (Brooklyn, NY), Ball-Nogues Studio (Los Angeles), de leon & primmer architecture workshop (Louisville, KY), Ruy Klein (New York City), Taylor & Miller Architecture & Design (Brooklyn and Pittsfield, MA), Lateral Office (Toronto), P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S (Los Angeles), and WXY architecture + urban design (New York City).

P.S. As profiled earlier, the Architectural League welcomes Thomas Fisher as part of its Talking Books series at 7pm this evening at McNally Jackson Books in New York. Credit: Photo above by Noah Kalina for ARCHITECT.
